Sony a6100 and a6600 now official!
Released in early 2019, the Sony a6400 quickly became a popular choice for its compact size and feature set that the Japanese electronics giant wants to build on by announcing two new cameras, the a6100, and the a6600!

The a6100 and a6600 cameras feature the same 24.2MP APS-C sensor found in the a6400. Thus sharing features like the 0.02ssec 425-point Fast Hybrid AF with up to 11fps continuous shooting with tracking, Real-time Eye AF for humans and animals, Silent shooting up to 8fps, 4K/30fps internal recording, 180-degree tiltable touch-display, and a microphone-in jack.
To be more affordable, the a6100 has a lower maximum ISO of 51200 and a lower resolution EVF compared to the a6400.
As the flagship, the a6600 builds on the a6400 by adding In-body-image stabilization, a headphone jack and the larger Z-battery while both the a6100 and a6400 share the W-battery.
