Huawei Nova 5z with punch-hole screen, Kirin 810, 48MP quad-cam, 32MP selfie cam announced

Huawei recently unveiled a more affordable version of the Nova 5i Pro in China, the Nova 5z.

Basically, based on its specs, it is the Nova 5i Pro with lower memory configuration and a more affordable price tag.

Highlights of the Huawei Nova 5z

Unlike the 5i Pro, it doesn't have the 8GB/256GB option. Instead, those who will get the 5z will be treated 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage options.

The rest is the same, it uses 6.26-inch FHD+ screen with punch-hole and DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 7nm Kirin 810 SoC with Mali-G52 MP6 GPU and Da Vinci AI architecture, 4,000mAh battery with USB-C 20W charging, 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-cam, 32MP selfie cam, and a fingerprint scanner behind.

In China, the Nova 5z with 64GB storage is priced at CNY 1,599 (around PHP 11.5K) and the 128GB model is priced at CNY 1,799 (around PHP 12.9K). It will go on sale from November 1, 2019.

We are unsure yet if it will be available in other parts of the world like here in Manila, Philippines.
