Pioneer local phone maker MyPhone has just released its newest ultra-budget phone contender, the myG1.

An ultra-budget phone with decent specs
The MyPhone myG1 highlights a gold-colored backplate with the iconic Philippine map design of the company.
What makes it special is the configuration it has for the price.
While most in this price range still have 512MB RAM or an FWVGA display, the MyPhone myG1 packs a 5.5-inch HD 1280 x 720 resolution display and 1GB RAM.
It also has 16GB expandable storage, 2,450mAh battery capacity, 5MP main camera w/ LED flash and 5MP face beauty selfie camera.
The phone also has a fingerprint reader at the back and OTG connectivity that is compatible with the MyPhone DTV dongle.
For connectivity, it has basic WiFi, 3G, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
The phone boots with the Android 9.0 Pie (Go edition) OS designed to run on phones with lesser hardware.
Price and availability
The MyPhone myG1 is priced at PHP 2,499. You can now get it in MyPhone stores, kiosks, and select mobile phone stores nationwide.
