Lazada kicks off 11.11 sale with new user-centric features and campaigns

Lazada makes the 11.11 shopping experience more worthwhile with LazGames, Image Scan, AR, and more!

Notably, Lazada was the first to bring the 11.11 shopping festival to Southeast Asia, the Philippines included. The e-commerce platform is setting the bar once again with its newest features meant to incentivize shoppers and make every shopping experience worth coming back to.

Lazada Image Scan and Augmented Reality

Lazada Image Scan allows users to capture an item they like such as a piece of clothing and add it to their carts, making finding items easier. Another new Lazada feature is making use of AR to try out products you find on the app. This could be convenient when looking to buy items such as makeup, as you get to virtually try on, let’s say for example, lipstick shades without physically putting them on. These features were previewed during the 11.11 launch event. 


Moji-Go is an in-app facial recognition game where users need to match the facial expressions shown on screen to win coins. These coins can be converted to vouchers they could use on 11.11. 

Another Lazada innovation is GUESS IT!. This 4-hour interactive livestream in-app gameshow aired across six markets last November 4 and was hosted by Sam YG. Guest personalities went head to head to answer trivia questions and guess the price of select items which will be on 11.11. As it was live streamed, the audience also got to participate and score 11.11 discount vouchers. 

Lazada 11.11 SuperShow 

Lazada will also be hosting the country’s first live interactive countdown concert, the Super Show, on November 10, which would be live-streamed on the app.

The show was made possible through a partnership with ABS-CBN and would feature artists Vice Ganda, Billy Crawford, Karylle and Mimiyuuh, James Reid, Maja Salvador, Mayward, among others. The countdown show will be capped by a simulcast performance of singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

Users can look forward to Voucher Rain. This is an interactive game where users just have to slash to collect vouchers.

To make the countdown even more interesting, Lazada partner brands such as TRESemmé, Promil, Platinum Karaoke, Sun Life, and Hyundai are set to give out prices to shoppers. Hyundai will raffle off a brand-new Hyundai Reina. To qualify, shoppers must follow the Hyundai store on Lazada and await the winner announcement on 11.11.
