Huawei Watch GT 2 42mm is priced at PHP 9,990!

Apart from the 46mm edition, Huawei revealed that the 42mm Watch GT 2 is coming to the Philippines soon.

The difference of Watch GT 2 42mm to 46mm

Huawei Watch GT 2 42mm is the smaller and more rounded GT 2 designed for the ladies.

It comes in Elegant (Steel) and Sport (Black) versions with a 1.2-inch 390 x 390 AMOLED screen with slide and touch gestures compared to the bigger 46mm version with a 1.39-inch display.

The 42mm version also has up to 7 days of battery life instead of up to 2 weeks of battery life of the 44mm variant.

The 42mm measures at 41.8 x 41.8 x 9.4 mm weighing at 29 grams which is smaller and lighter than the 45.9 x 45.9 x 10.7 mm and 41 grams of the 46mm.

But the rest is the same. It has 5 ATM water-resistance, Kirin A1 chip,  Bluetooth 5.1 and a microphone/speaker for calls.

Price and availability

Lower starting price than the 46mm version

Since the size and battery are smaller, the starting price is lower too. The 42mm Sport (Black) is priced at PHP 9,990 only.

But if you want the Elegant (Steel) variant, you will need to shell out PHP 13,990. Why? Steel is more expensive than regular rubber straps.
