Realme announces X50 5G and X50 Master Edition!

On schedule, realme launched the X50 5G and X50 Master Edition in China, the first realme phones with next-generation ultra-fast 5G connectivity.

As expected, the handset is powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 765G chipset with a built-in 5G modem. It has support for both SA/NSA (stand-alone and non-stand alone) sub-6GHz 5G networks.

The handset also highlights a 6.57-inch FHD+ IPS screen with dual punch-hole and 90.48 percent screen-to-body ratio. Realme also highlights that it uses an 8mm liquid-cooled copper pipe 3.0 for improved heat dissipation and to make the overall performance more stable.

The realme X50 also has a new 64MP + 12MP 2x telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro quad-camera system. It has up to 5x optical and 20x hybrid zoom as well.

For videos, realme highlighted that it has UIS Max Mode for ultra-stable videos, ultra-wide-angle framing, and up to 960fps super slow-mo.

For selfies, it uses a 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX471 primary cam and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera.

For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Master Edition is in collaboration with industrial design master Naoto Fukasawa and it is available in Point and Line versions for a more futuristic look.

X50 will be available in China from January 14, 2020. There's no word yet when will it go official in the Philippines.

Realme said that it is working closely with local network operators, internet companies, and app developers to boost the development of 5G and expand the market.
