Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is coming!

The difference between Mate 30 Pro 4G and Mate 30 Pro 5G is the chipset used. The 4G version uses the regular 7nm Kirin 990 with Dual NPU while the 5G version comes with the more powerful 7nm+ EUV Kirin 990 5G chip.

The Kirin 990 5G comes with a built-in Balong 5000 5G modem with NSA/SA (Non-stand-alone and stand-alone) 5G with up to 2.3 Gbps download and 1.25 Gbps upload speeds.

Its power 2x Cortex-A76 cores have the same 2.86GHz clock speed, but the regular 2x Cortex-A76 cores and the efficient 4x Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 2.36GHz and 1.95GHz, respectively.

Basically, that's faster than the 2.09GHz and 1.95GHz found on Kirin 990 4G's regular Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 cores.

The rest is the same. It still sports the metal back with Halo Ring camera design, 6.47-inch Horizon OLED screen (waterfall curve), 4,500mAh massive battery, and the Leica 40MP + 40MP + 8MP + 3D Depth Sensing quad-camera tech.

Recently, the Mate 30 Pro 5G also achieved the highest DxOMark mobile camera score yet.
