BlackBerry's tweets farewell letter to TCL

A tweet from Blackberry's official Twitter page says that TCL will no longer have the right to design, make and sell BlackBerry-branded devices. It said that the partnership between the two that started in 2016 is coming to an end on August 31, 2020.
The last BlackBerry phones from TCL arrived in June 2019 that you can read about at this link.

Current BlackBerry users may be saddened by this news but should not worry as support for their handsets that include customer service and warranties will still be handled and honored by TCL until August 31, 2022.

It is also good to know that this isn't the end for BlackBerry as the company still offers secure enterprise services and is the owner of the popular automotive OS, QNX.

There is no official statement yet from TCL and BlackBerry Philippines.
