A week after the official launch of the OnePlus 8 Pro, users have been reporting that the displays on their units are suffering from a green tint issue.

OnePlus 8 Pro's display suffers from Green Tint issue |
Several years ago, the OnePlus 5 suffered from the "Jelly scrolling" issue which made text and images stretch. It was caused by an upside-down mounted display.
In early April, the OnePlus 8 Pro was announced with a large 6.78-inch QHD+ 120Hz display.

A Reddit post from the sub-Reddit u/WhateverSuitsYou had an attached image of the OnePlus 8 Pro side by side with a Samsung Galaxy Device. When viewing both phones side by side, it is clear that the OnePlus 8 Pro produced an image that was greener than the Samsung Galaxy Device.
Some users have reported that the green tint disappears after the DC dimming feature is turned on and when users switch to 60Hz.
OnePlus acknowledges the issue and is looking into it and will work on a solution.
This reminds us of the Hulk issue of the Galaxy S20 Ultra recently.
UPDATE: Samsung has begun seeding a firmware update in Germany that fixes the green tint issue.
OnePlus has acknowledged the issue and will also be releasing a firmware update that will address the green tint in the coming weeks.
