The side-mounted pop-up camera |
Lenovo is banking on its current popularity with gamers by announcing a Lenovo Legion Gaming phone. The first time there was an official word of the powerhouse smartphone was when Lenovo created a Legion Gaming Phone page in Weibo. After that, the company teased information like the processor being the Snapdragon 865 and that it will have 90W fast charging. Aside from these two teasers, not much is confirmed officially.
However, XDA developers claim to have acquired several screenshots of the unannounced gaming phone that reveals its design from a promotional video.
The screenshots reveal that the smartphone is designed to be primarily used in the landscape orientation. The rear-facing camera is placed just above the middle of the back of the phone with the LED flash. The LED flash is right above the "Y" Legion logo in the middle of the backplate.
While the front-facing camera is revealed to be on the right side-mounted pop-up camera mechanism.

Bottom and side-mounted USB Type-C ports |
Upon closer inspection, the screenshots also reveal two USB Type-C ports. One is at the bottom beside the SIM tray while the other is on the left side. There is no sign of the 3.5mm headphone jack.
XDA Developers also revealed that their source claims that the smartphone will have the Snapdragon 865 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 SSD storage, 144Hz FHD+ display, 270Hz touch sampling rate and that it will run Android 10 with Lenovo ZUI on top. The rear-facing cameras are made up of the 64MP main camera and 16MP wide-angle camera while the front-facing camera is a single 20MP shooter.
As Lenovo has yet to make a Gaming Phone official, take this information with a grain of salt.
