Realme 6i with Helio G80 arrives in the Philippines, starts at PHP 7,990!
Through an online event, realme has finally launched the realme 6i in the Philippines. This is the company's newest smartphone that packs a unique design, powerful internals, strong battery life, and capable cameras under PHP 10K.
Realme also highlighted that it now has a budget phone with a USB-C port that has up to 18W of fast charging to quickly charge its massive 5,000mAh battery. That's a welcome upgrade compared to the micro USB and 10W charging of older realme budget smartphones.
This is also the first realme budget device with a 48MP quad-camera setup. It uses a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter with PDAF, 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro camera, and a 2MP mono camera for depth effect. In the front, it goes with a bigger 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.
Realme also added a fingerprint scanner behind, Band 28 700MHz 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 10.0 OS w/ realme UI 1.0.
Lastly, it uses a back unique back panel in White Milk and Green Tea colors designed by MUJI designer Naoto Fukasawa.

This is the newest gaming-capable contender on a budget in town
As a quick recap, the realme 6i is the world's first smartphone to load with MediaTek's Helio G80 processor. It's a 12nm chip with up to 2.0GHz clock speed and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU that provides up to 35 percent increase in CPU performance and 25 percent GPU performance increase coming from the realme 5 with 11nm Snapdragon 665. It is paired with up to 4GB LPDD4X RAM and large up to 128GB storage as well. |
