Local gadget curator Ekotek recently launched its own UV+ Sterilization Case for PHP 2,499 last week.

It's a compact and portable case that uses a premium-looking premium faux fiber gray texture with UV-C radiation that kills microbes. Ekotek claimed that it has been proven with lab tests to effectively kill 99.99 percent of viruses and bacteria within a 5 minute action time.

Ekotek said that it can be used to clean anything that fits inside the case like smartphones, face masks, wristwatches, keys, and even money. The case is 6.8-inch long, 3.6-inch wide, and 1.4-inch thick.

Priced at PHP 2,499 (PHP 2,299 if cash), we think that the Ekotek UV+ Sterilization Case is a good investment.

While it won't treat diseases such as the COVID-19, the device could help clean our gadgets and other things to prevent the spread of bacteria and other viruses.

We also like that it is stylish, portable, and can fit a few things to sterilize inside.
