Apple Watch Series 6 and Watch SE priced in the Philippines!

At its Time Flies event, Apple announces the new more affordable Watch SE and the new Watch Series 6 with new S6 dual-core SoC and Blood Oxygen sensors.

Apple has announced two new Watch models. First up is the new and more affordable Watch SE model that sits between the Watch Series 3 and the new Series 6. The Watch SE comes in 40 and 44mm case with a 30 percent larger Retina LTPO OLED display with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. It has up to 32GB of internal storage and features a speaker and built-in microphone.

Inside the Watch SE is the S5 SiP dual-core processor with the W3 wireless chip. It has a Digital Crown that offers haptic feedback. Sensors include the Optical Heartrate sensors and fall detection. 

Next up is the new Watch Series 6 that comes in 40 or 44mm case with an Always-On Retina LTPO OLED display and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. Inside the Watch Series 6 is the new S6 SiP dual-core processor, W3 wireless chip, and U1 Ultra-wideband chip.

It also features the Digital Crown with haptic feedback, fall detection, and water resistance at up to 50 meters. 

The biggest new feature is the new Blood Oxygen Sensor and the second-generation optical heart sensor that offers real-time measurements of the blood oxygen levels.

Apple Series 6 in Aluminum comes in Black, Gold, Blue, and Product Red colorways.

Both the Watch Series 6 and the  Watch SE's case offer up to 50 meters of water resistance and the wearable connects via WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and supports GPS, GNSS, compass, and an always-on altimeter.

Both the Apple Watch SE and Watch Series 6 are now available in the United States. There is no word yet when the two models will be available in the Philippines but prices have been listed on Apple PH.
