Apple iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max with 5G and better cameras now official
Of course, Apple also launched the "Pro" models of the 2020 iPhones—the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max!

The Pro 2020 iPhones with 5G and more!
These two are the biggest iPhones yet, but they retained the same form factor found on the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.
Both are equipped with IP68 water and dust resistance, stainless steel chassis, and Gold, Gray, Silver, and Pacific Blue colorways. iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 6.1-inch big XDR OLED display while the Pro Max boasts a 6.7-inch large screen. That's up from the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch coming from iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.
iPhone 12 Pro has a 2532 x 1170 resolution while the iPhone 12 Pro Max goes with a 2778 x 1284 resolution panel. Both have 1200 peak brightness.
Similar to iPhone 12 and 12 mini, the Pro models of the iPhones use Corning's Ceramic Shield material with up to 4x better drop resistance than its previous glass.
Under the hood, both are powered by the 5nm A14 Bionic chips. The two have a powerful 5G modem as well.
For cameras, iPhone 12 Pro has a 12MP f/1.6 with OIS, 12MP f/2.4 120-degree ultra-wide, and 12MP f/2.0 telephoto lens with OIS.
iPhone 12 Pro Max has a larger 1.7µm 12MP f/1.6 camera that is 47 percent bigger than the main cam of iPhone 12 Pro.
It also has a sensor-shift image stabilization instead of the traditional moving optic lens.
Apple also highlights that it uses a better 12MP f/2.2 zoom camera with up to 2.5x zoom and OIS.
It also has the LiDAR Scanner for immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences and improved low light focusing, shooting speed, and portrait effect.
For selfies, it has a 12MP f/2.2 selfie shooter with a Portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control, Night mode, Deep Fusion, and Smart HDR 3 on its large notch.
The phones also have the MagSafe with up to 15W snap-on wireless charging. The in-box charger is gone.
iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will be available in bigger 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.

iPhone 12 Pro's pre-order starts on October 16 and October 23 availability. iPhone 12 Pro Max's pre-order begins on November 6 with November 13 availability.
