OnePlus 8 Pro PH units receives stable OxygenOS 11 update

Local units of the OnePlus 8 Pro have started receiving the stable OxygenOS 11 update based on Android 11 OS.

To recall, OxygenOS 11 brings a new design aimed to improve the overall experience of OnePlus users on big screens. It also highlights the Always-on Ambient Display, five new themes for Zen Mode as well as a custom time range feature for the dark mode.

The update log of the device also highlighted that there is a new weather UI that supports dynamic switches between sunrise and sunset and optimizes the stability of some third-party applications.

There's the addition of a new Game Space with newly added gaming tools for convenient switches on Fnatic mode, a quick reply feature in a small window for IG and WhatsApp, and a mistouch prevention feature.

For the Gallery, loading speed was optimized and image preview is now faster. Story function that automatically forms weekly videos with photos and videos in the storage.

Of course, it has all the new features of Android 11 including its optimizations and privacy features.

The update size is about 2.8GB big. So, make sure that you have enough storage and at least 30 percent battery before updating.
