Xiaomi unveils Mi NoteBook 14 e-learning Edition and Mi Box 4S Pro!

Affordable laptop for work or study
The Mi NoteBook 14 e-learning Edition is an all-aluminum laptop tipping the scale at 1.5 kg and measuring about 18 mm in thickness. It packs in Intel’s Core i3-10110U processor, paired with 8GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM and a 2B56G SATA 3 SSD. Similar to the Mi NoteBook 14 that was launched this year, it sports a 14-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and slightly larger bezels.
Even though this laptop has a relatively affordable price tag, the company was able to equip this with a built-in web camera. In terms of I/O, the laptop features 2 USB 3.1 Type-A Gen 1 ports, 1 USB 2.0 Type-A port, 1 HDMI port, a headphone/microphone combo jack, and a DC-jack for power. For wireless connectivity, it has an 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
The keyboard and trackpad on the Mi NoteBook 14 e-learning Edition are the same as its expensive sibling, and it also comes with the same 46WHr battery and 65W power brick. According to Xiaomi, the can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in just 35 minutes
For its operating system, the laptop runs Windows 10 Home Edition with two pre-installed utilities from Xiaomi, the Mi Blaze unlock, and Mi QuickShare. This latest notebook is designed for users studying or working from home in these pandemic times.
Mi Box 4S Pro is now available for 8K videos
In China, Xiaomi already unveiled the Mi Box 4S Pro, also known as an upgraded version of the Mi Box 4 Pro. Although it looks like its predecessor, this one features an 8K video decoding.
It also has an improved HDMI 2.1 to enable 8K video playback above 30fps. This one is also equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Anyway, the pre-orders start today and the asking price is CNY 399 ($60), which is understandably slightly more expensive than its predecessor.
India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):
The Mi NoteBook 14 e-learning Edition is priced at INR 34,999 (more or less PHP 22,700) while the Mi Box 4S Pro costs CNY 399 (more or less PHP 2K). No word yet if Xiaomi is going to release them in other countries as well.
