Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G officially arrived in China!

As promised, Xiaomi just released the Redmi Note 9 family in China. This series includes Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G.

Two powerful yet affordable devices from Xiaomi in China

The Redmi Note 9 4G sports a 6.53-inch FHD display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 400 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, it's powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 11nm processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB to 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM. Its memory is expandable up to 512GB via microSD.

For cameras, this one features a 48MP f/1.79  rear camera, 8MP 118-degree ultra-wide sensor. In front, there's an 8MP f/2.0 shooter. The device is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, an FM Radio, and stereo speakers.

Rounded camera hump with triple cameras

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note  9 5G has better specs compared to its sibling, Note 9 4G. It has a  6.53-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 450 nits brightness, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Inside, there's an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U (MT6873V) 7nm processor coupled with either a 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. It comes with either 128GB or 256GB of storage that can be expanded up to 512GB.

It also has a triple camera set-up: 48MP rear camera with f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, 8MP 118-degree ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there's a 13MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging support.

The Redmi Note 9 4G is already available but the Redmi Note 9 5G will go on sale from December 1 in China. There's no word yet on its pricing and availability in other regions outside the said country.
