This year, several Filipinos encountered challenges from the pandemic, natural calamities like the recent Super Typhoons which destroyed numerous homes and livelihoods. But with the help from LGU, NGO, and private institutions these past few months, affected communities slowly recover from the disasters.

One of the brands that have been constantly doing emergency relief efforts is Haier Philippines, a global home appliance brand. Last January, Haier has been aiding Mount Taal victims by personally distributing clothes and food supplies to more than 200 families. After that, the company made a donation of two Haier refrigerators to frontliners who have been working hard to combat COVID-19.

Tulong Tulong, Sabay Sabay Tayong Aahon in Bicol Region

Recently, the appliance brand also partnered with dealers Alsons & Willy & Sons to initiate a donation drive called "Tulong Tulong, Sabay Sabay Tayong Aahon". Its objective is to address the immediate and urgent needs of the families affected in Brgy. Minto, Guinobatan, Albay, Brgy. Niño Jesus, Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Tabaco & Malinao Albay.

The relief operation started on November 28 and ended on November 30. Haier gave grocery and rice packages, polo shirts, and umbrellas to more than 650 families who were a victim of Typhoon Ulysses.
