PLDT Global inked partnership with Equinix to boost digital services in Asia Pacific

The PLDT Global is the international subsidiary of one of the largest telecommunications in the Philippines, PLDT Inc. Meanwhile, Equinix is one of the global digital infrastructures currently based in California.
In line with this partnership, PLDT Global customers can expect faster speeds of cloud connection, optimized bandwidth and cloud migration cost, enhanced business continuity services, and improved security.
During the signing ceremony, Senior Vice President of Sales, at Equinix Asia-Pacific Diarmid Massey, noted that technology is evolving so both consumers and businesses need a better digital experience. He also thanked PLDT Global for the trust in their platform. This platform is said to provide innovative solutions to its global networks, enterprise customers, and distribution partners across Asia-Pacific, including Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
As part of this deal, PLDT Global will also promote Equinix’s ecosystem of partners and customers to reach more customers in the Asia Pacific, as well as Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and the Americas. Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at PLDT Global Albert V. Villa-Real said,
