Top 2 performing are equipped with Snapdragon 888
Chinese software benchmarking tool AnTuTu has released the top ten best performing flagships and mid-range smartphones in China last January 2021.

Back in July, we reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon dominated AnTuTu's list. Six months later, the chip manufacturer has managed to do it again with over eight out of ten phones in the list equipped with a Qualcomm chipset.
The top three include iQOO 7, Xiaomi Mi 11, and the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+. The first two of the three are equipped with the current flagship Snapdragon 888.
Inside the iQOO 7 is the aforementioned Snapdragon 888, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 that was able to yield a world breaking score of 728,784. iQOO is vivo's performance-focused sub-brand and has been topping the list several times now.
In second place is the Xiaomi Mi 11 with a score of 705,593. A nearly 23K point deficit from the current champion. And in third place is the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ with a score of 702,553. It is good to know that the latest flagship chipsets are breaking the 700K point barrier which offers a decent performance gain over last year's Snapdragon 865 and Kirin 990.

In the mid-range category, the story is entirely different as MediaTek's Dimensity and Huawei's Kirin 985 dominated the list. Kirin managed to bag five out of ten spots while MediaTek's Dimensity took three spots.
It is worth noting that the top two spots are from the Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G that are both equipped with the recently announced Dimensity 820 which scored 401,389 and 398,264 respectively.
Huawei has managed to get over five spots with the Kirin 985 and Kirin 820 from the nova 7, nova 7 Pro, Honor X10, and the Honor 30.
While Qualcomm managed to only get two out of ten slots in the top ten best performing mid-range smartphones in China.
