This will help Filipinos and their other customers make outgoing calls, receive incoming calls, send SMS to their loved ones, and use data roaming (whichever service is available) during this time.
The company highlighted that these credits are only for the roaming services used in Myanmar.
Globe said that all its customers in Myanmar will be connected to its partner network Telenor.
To recap, there is a situation in the said country. The military is now back in charge and has declared a year-long state of emergency.
The military blocked access to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. A full internet blackout was ordered as well.
