Canon has made several announcements that include the new RF 400mm F2.8L, RF 600mm F4L, and the development of the Canon EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera.

First up is the new RF 100 F2.8L Macro IS USM. It is Canon's first RF-mount lens designed for super close-up photography with a minimum focusing distance of only 10-inches and a maximum magnification of 1.4x. The lens has 17 elements in 13 groups with Super Spectra coating that reduces flare and ghosting. The internal Image Stabilization is rated for up to 5 stops and up to 8 stops of Hybrid Stabilization.

It uses Canon's Dual Nano USM linear motors to ensure quiet and silent autofocus. The body measures at 82 x 148 mm and measures 730 grams. Lastly, it has a 67mm filter thread.

Up next are the RF 400 F2.8L IS ISM and the RF 600 F4L IS USM massive telephoto lenses. Both have the same optical makeup as their EF-mount equivalents where it has 17 elements in 13 groups. The lenses come with one Super UD and two Fluorite special elements with Super Spectra and Air Sphere coatings. The internal Image stabilization is rated at up to 5.5 stops of camera shake reduction.

The 400mm has a minimum focusing distance of 2.5mm while the 600mm has a minimum focusing distance of 4.2mm. Both lenses support the RF 1.4x and 2x Teleconverters. Being an all-new L-series lens, the 400 and 600 are built tough and rugged and is weather sealed.

Lastly, Canon has announced the development of the Canon EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera. It has a dual side and bottom grip design. Canon claims that the upcoming camera will be able to shoot 30fps with full-AF. Its new Stacked CMOS sensor will feature Dual Pixel AF and will be designed and manufactured by Canon. This new sensor also enables fast burst shooting while reducing the rolling shutter.

No other details are available about the upcoming new camera.
