Huawei to launch FreeBuds 4, MateView, MateView GT, P50 series on July 6 in APAC region!

First up, Huawei FreeBuds 4 is a pair of new TWS earbuds with an open-fit design. It also has the ANC technology that can reduce noise up to 25 dB of hybrid active noise reduction. It uses 14.3mm dynamic drivers and the Kirin A1 chip that gives extraordinary sound quality. Both earbuds were also equipped with their own bass enhancing power engine for greater diaphragm vibration. 

Other features include 3 microphones for call noise reduction and can achieve high-definition vocal recording at a sampling rate of 48kHz. It also has easy touch controls and the latest Bluetooth 5.2 technology. Huawei also said that it has all-new game audio coding which delivers 90ms low latency for Harmony OS devices and 150ms on EMUI phones.

It also has the simultaneous connect two devices with ease. The earbuds have sensors for wear detection and touch controls. For its battery, each earbud carries 30mAh that can play for up to 4 hours and a charging case with a 410 mAh battery that can give 22 hrs more usage. With only a 15-min charge it can do 2.5 hours of music playback. You can charge it via USB Type-C and via Qi wireless charging. 

For its water resistance, it has a rated IPX4. The FreeBuds 4 comes in colors namely White, Silver, and Red colorways.

As a recap, MateView is a 28.2-inch LCD monitor with a 60Hz refresh rate, 4K+ 3840 x 2560 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and slim bezels boasting a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also has 100 percent sRGB coverage, 90 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, ΔE < 2 color accuracy, and 500 nits peak brightness. 

It also has a VESA Display HDR 400 Certification, TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification, and TÜV Rheinland Low Bluelight Certification. In terms of sound, it is touted to have a "theatre-level sound" as well as an independent DSP calibration. It also goes with dual speakers for stereo sound and dual microphones.

Other features include a Smart Bar for controls, functions, and settings. This monitor can be connected via USB-C, 2x USB-A, HDMI, and MiniDP interfaces. It also has an option for wireless casting.

The MateView GT is Huawei's flagship curved gaming monitor. This gaming monitor has a curved ultrawide display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a built-in SoundBar.

It is a curved 34-inch display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 1500R curvature, and a max resolution of 3440 x 1440. In terms of color accuracy, it supports DCI-P3 color space and has a Delta E value of <2.  The Huawei MateView GT has a peak brightness of 350 nits and a contrast ratio of 4000:1, as well as HDR 10 to make the content more realistic.

Lastly, the Huawei P50 series will feature the latest dual-ring camera with a quad-sensor setup. The Huawei P50 series will feature this camera design and Leica camera. The first hump shows 3 cameras and the second one is housing the periscope zoom-looking camera and LED flash.

Leaks also suggest that the P50 series will feature the nm Kirin 9000 chipset with a 24-core Mali-G78 GPU, 1/1.18-inch Sony IMX707Y RYYB main sensor, or the Sony IMX800 sensor with a possible 1-inch massive sensor size.

The Huawei APAC Summer Product Launch is scheduled for July 6, 2021.
