Huawei nova 9 series with SD778G 4G, up to 100W charging, and up to 2x 32MP selfie cams now official

In China, tech giant Huawei released the nova 9 series, a month following the Philippine launch of the nova 8 smartphones.

New mid-range 4G Huawei devices

The nova 9 series is available in two versions—the vanilla nova 9 and nova 9 Pro. Both are equipped with a Huawei P50-like flagship design, high refresh rate displays, Qualcomm chips, fast charging, and interesting cameras. Both run with Huawei's homegrown HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system as well.

However, due to the China-US trade situation that prevented Huawei from having access to 5G chips, the nova 9 phones are mid-range 2021 smartphones with no 5G connectivity.

The nova 9 Pro is the device with a larger 6.72-inch display and faster USB-C 100W SuperCharge (first in a Huawei smartphone) at the expense of a smaller 4,000mAh battery. It is also the first Huawei phone with a dual 32MP selfie camera setup.
