A new smartwatch and a smart TV from OPPO

OPPO Watch Free is the company's latest budget wearable. It has a 19mm strap, weighs 32.6 grams, and has a water resistance of 5ATM. In front, it features a 1.75-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED screen with  100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and 326 ppi. It packs a 230mAh battery and the company claims that it can last up to 14 days of usage while a 5-minute charge means 1 day of use.

It sports a six-axis motion sensor, optical heart rate sensor, optical blood oxygen sensor, and ambient light sensor. OPPO also equipped this watch with a heart-rate monitor, rated to issue readouts on 5 different aspects of cardiac fitness simultaneously and in real-time. Aside from that stress- and sleep-tracking, but there's no mention of blood-oxygen measurements.

For exercise, there are more than 100 sports modes to choose from and it automatically tracks 6 sports modes. This includes running, walking, outdoor cycling, swimming, elliptical machine, and rowing machine. 

OPPO also added a new feature called eSports Mode which diverts all notifications and alerts from a paired smartphone to the Watch Free when activated. However, this only works with compatible devices such as the OPPO Find X3 and Reno6 series as of the moment. The company noted that it will include more OPPO phones in this list gradually.

The Watch Free also has NFC for contactless payments, public transport cards, and others.

Meanwhile, the tech giant also released the 75-inch variant of the OPPO K9 Smart TV. Before this, the brand has already unveiled 43, 55, and 65 inches television in the same lineup.

This flagship television sports a metal narrow frame design and has a screen-to-body ratio of above 95 percent. It utilizes a 4K resolution 60Hz panel with a color gamut of 93 percent DCI-P3.

According to the company, color calibration was done one by one during manufacturing to achieve professional-level high color accuracy. OPPO Blu-ray team has tuned this television to offer a better display effect.

Aside from this, this 75-inch television sports an HDR10+ certification with DLC global dynamics as well as darkfield enhancements. Allegedly, it supports a 1.07B color display, has an OCEE color enhancement engine, and also supports MEMC frame supplement function.

Inside, the K9 Smart TV is equipped with a built-in MediaTek SoC chip that has 4  1.5GHz A73 cores. This is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It

For connectivity, it supports dual-band WiFi and has multiple HDMI 2.1 ports that are compatible with game consoles. Additionally, it comes with an eARC function for connecting external speakers.

The OPPO Smart TV K9 75-inch runs the new ColorOS TV 2.2 system and it also features an intelligent voice assistant.

The OPPO Watch Free and K9 Smart TV (75-inch) are now available for order and will go on sale in China starting from September 30. However, there's no news yet regarding their international availability.
