In India, Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has just announced the new Redmi 10 Prime. The new smartphone features an impressive 6.5-inch LCD display with a punch hole, 2400 x 1080 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Inside is the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage expandable via microSD slot, 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB-C. 

At the back are a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the punch hole is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Other features include Dual Graphite sheets for heat dissipation, triple-slot SIM tray, 4G LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.1 support.

Included in the box is a 22.5W charger.

The phone measures 161.95 x 75.57 x 9.56 mm and weighs 192 grams. It comes in Phantom Black, Bifrost Blue, and Astra White.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Redmi 10 Prime 4GB/64GB - INR 12,499 (around PHP 8.5K)
Redmi 10 Prime 6GB/128GB - INR 14,499 (around PHP 9.9K)

The phone will be available for purchase in India at 12 noon on September 7, 2021, thru official Mi stores online and retail outlets.

There is no word yet on International and Philippine pricing and availability.
