Samsung Galaxy W22 5G with SD888 and S Pen support launched in China!

Samsung and China Telecom have officially unveiled the 'ultra-high-end customized' flagship  Galaxy W22 5G in China.

China Telecom and Samsung have just unveiled the China-only Samsung Galaxy W22 5G. 

Inside the flagship foldable is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 16GB RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 4,400mAh battery with 25W Adaptive Fast Charging via USB-C.

On the outside is the 120Hz 6.2-inch outer Dynamic AMOLED display with 2260 x 832 resolution with a punch hole. while inside is the larger 120Hz 7.2-inch inner Dynamic AMOLED display with 2208 x 1768 resolution. 

At the back is the triple camera set-up made up of a 12MP f/1.8 main camera, 12MP f/2.4 telephoto and 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with LED flash. While the punch hole on the outer display carries the 10MP f/2.2 selfie camera. Under the larger inner display is the 4MP f/2.2 under-display camera.

The phone supports up to two nano-SIM cards and it measures 158.2 x 128.1 x 6.5 when unfolded and measures 158.2 x 67.1 x 16.0-14.4 when folded. It weighs 4400 and only comes in the Phantom Black colorway. Lastly, the phone is IPX8 water-resistant rated and it supports the S Pen.

Because it is customized for China, there is no Google Mobile Services and is instead pre-installed with China regional apps and services.

Interested parties can now pre-order until the 14th of October and the phone will be available for purchase on October 22, 2021.

The Galaxy W22 5G is a China-exclusive model and will not be available officially in other countries.
