OnePlus Buds Z2 with Active Noise Cancellation now official

Along with the OnePlus 9RT, the company also announced the launch of the Buds Z2 earbuds. It has Active Noise Cancellation and Dolby Atmos support.

The OnePlus Z2 is a pair of TWS earbuds with a stemmed design that comes in White and Black. It has an elliptical charging case with a flat bottom. The earbuds also have silicon tips and IP55 splash-proof protection while the case is IPX4 certified. The charging case comes with LED indicators that tell you how much battery it has left.

It has 11mm dynamic drivers in each earbud

The earbuds themselves have an 11mm dynamic driver each for rich and clear audio. It also has Active Noise Cancellation that is marketed to block out up to 40db of outside noises with the aid of three microphones on each earbud. It connects via Bluetooth 5.2 with support for the AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs as well as BLE, SPP, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP transmissions protocols.

In terms of battery, the earbuds pack 7 hours of usage with ANC off and 5 hours with ANC on. The case can support Warp Charge with a 10-minute charge providing 5 hours of listening.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 will start to be available in China starting October 19. Local price and availability are yet to be confirmed though. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
