Just in! POCO M4 Pro 5G with 6nm MTK 5G chip and with 50MP cam now official!

On schedule, POCO today launched the M4 Pro 5G, the direct successor of the M3 Pro 5G.

It brings a new design, slightly larger and improved display, better chipset, faster charging, a better camera setup with an ultra-wide-angle sensor instead of the less useful macro and depth cameras, and the use of a stereo speaker setup.

In particular, the device is sporting a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 450 nits brightness, and a top-center punch-hole housing the 16MP selfie camera.

A more powerful processor

Inside, it is packed with the faster and newer 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It also has up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 33W fast charging tech. POCO is claiming that this can charge the phone from 0 to 100 percent in 59 minutes.

Of course, it has a virtual RAM expansion tech with +5GB and +8GB, respectively.

For cameras, it is packed with a larger 50MP main shooter paired with an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle camera. IF you will notice, the camera design has 5 holes, but only 2 cameras and the LED flash are useful. Others are just there for design.

The device also now has an X-axis linear motor.

Technically, this is the slightly toned-down rebranded version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G.
