AMD Ryzen 6000 H-Series and U-Series

There will be two series for AMD Ryzen 6000 mobile CPUs. The H-Series will be more performance-centric designed for gamers and creators. The U-Series aims to pack performance while keeping it thin and light. The H-Series will be running off 35W to 45W of power while the U-Series will run off 15W to 28W of power.

The AMD Ryzen 6000 laptop processors will use the new Zen 3+ CPU architecture and a 6m process. Instead of the now aging Vega integrated GPUs, it will now feature the more recent RDNA2 architecture features in the Radeon 6000-series dedicated GPUs.

Here are the AMD Ryzen 6000 H-Series options:

AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX 8 cores/16 threads, 45W+ TDP
AMD Ryzen 9 6980HS 8 cores/16 threads, 35W TDP
AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX 8 cores/16 threads, 45W+ TDP
AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS 8 cores/16 threads, 35W TDP
AMD Ryzen 7 6800H 8 cores/16 threads, 45W TDP
AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS 8 cores/16 threads, 35W TDP
AMD Ryzen 5 6600H 6 cores/12 threads, 45W TDP
AMD Ryzen 5 6600HS 6 cores/12 threads, 35W TDP

Here are the AMD Ryzen 6000 U-Series options:

AMD Ryzen 7 6800U 8 cores/16 threads, 15W - 28W TDP
AMD Ryzen 5 6600U 6 cores/12 threads, 15W - 28W TDP
AMD Ryzen 7 5825U 8 cores/16 threads, 15W TDP
AMD Ryzen 5 5625U 6 cores/12 threads, 15W TDP
AMD Ryzen 5 5425U 4 cores/8 threads, 15W TDP

All of the AMD Ryzen 6000 series CPUs will come with PCIe 4.0 support for fast SSDs, DDR5 RAM support, Microsoft Pluton Security processor, USB 4.0, HDMI 2.1 support, WiFi 6E support, Bluetooth LE 5.2, and better battery efficiency.

Laptops with the AMD Ryzen 6000 series CPUs will start popping up at CES 2022 from different brands including Acer, ASUS, Alienware, Lenovo, Razer, and HP. Sales will start in February 2022.
