NVIDIA teased its latest creation of GPUs at CES 2022 event today—the RTX 3090 Ti and the RTX 3050.
The GPU maker says that more information will be available soon, but has provided a few details to hold enthusiasts over until then.
The RTX 3090 Ti look familiar with its triple-slot design which we've seen already on the RTX 3090. They may have the same looks but in terms of hardware, the newest ultra-high-end GPU has 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM running at 21GBPS which is 7 percent faster than the 3090 with 19.5 GBPS with the same amount of VRAM.
Based on NVIDIA's claims, the RTX 3090 Ti has 40 teraflops of graphics performance, Ray Tracing uses 78 teraflops, while AI operations use 320 teraflops. Nvidia hasn't revealed the base and boosts clocks, but on paper, the RTX 3090 Ti appears to be roughly 12.5-ish percent quicker than the RTX 3090 with 35.6 teraflops of GPU power, 69.5 teraflops on Ray Tracing, and 285 teraflops on AI.
Meanwhile, the GPU maker also announced the RTX 3050 which is set to be the most affordable variant among 30-series desktop graphics currently. The company did not also share full specifications here too, but they mentioned that it has 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM, 9 teraflops for graphics performance, 18 teraflops on Ray Tracing, and 73 teraflops on AI.

The company promises more details will be available this January for their flagship GPU including the price and availability. But as for the RTX 3050, it will be available on January 27. However, there's no information yet for its availability here in the Philippines. Stay tuned for more updates.
