realme releases Pro Series with "flagship-level" cameras!

On schedule, the world's fastest-growing smartphone maker realme today announced the realme 9 Pro series in a Livestream event.

According to the company, the realme 9 Pro series is the company's first flagship-level photography lineup in the mid-range segment. The series consist of the realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+.

realme 9 Pro is the "standard" edition of this line featuring a Light Shift design (color-shifting design) that changes color automatically in three color variants, a 6.59-inch 120Hz Ultra Smooth Display, and the 5G-ready 8nm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with Adreno 619L GPU.

realme is also boasting that it has up to 13GB Dynamic RAM (likely 8GB RAM + virtual RAM using the internal storage of the phone), a liquid cooling system to keep its performance in check, and a 64MP triple-camera configuration with the Street Mode 2.0 function.

The device also has a 3.5mm Hi-Res Certified Headphone Jack slot and the latest realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 OS.

On the other hand, the realme 9 Pro+ is the more powerful device highlighting the Light Shift design, 6.43-inch Super AMOLED 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display with In-Display fingerprint reader that can detect heart rate, the 5G-ready 2.5GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core processor with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, and 60W Super Dart Charge technology.

For cameras, the device banners the 50MP Sony IMX766 with a large 1/1.56-inch sensor size. This is the same image sensor found on other flagship camera phones like the OPPO Find X3 Pro. It is even paired with OIS and EIS for stabilization and AI Noise Cancellation 3.0 Technology. Based on realme's own Camera Lab experiment, its main camera can go toe to toe with premium flagship phones.

This also has the Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers and X-axis motor tactile engine.

During the event, realme also announced that the fashion label HELIOT EMIL has become the Guest Designers of realme Design Studio. Under this partnership, the brand aims to make waves in the design world by uniting technology and fashion in a trendsetting approach.

realme 9 Pro series will be the first smartphones to debut in the Paris Fashion Week 2022.

realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition

Moreover, realme announced the world's first Free Fire co-designed smartphone called realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition with surprise customization features. This will be introduced in April 2022.
