Samsung Galaxy A03 with 48MP cam and 1.6GHz octa-core chip arrives in PH, price starts at PHP 5,490

Following the launch of Galaxy A03S last year, Samsung Philippines today launched the A03 in the country.

Samsung Galaxy A03 is now available in the Philippines

Galaxy A03 is an entry-level smartphone boasting a cross-hatched light pattern and a soft matte finish design on the back in Black, Blue, and Red colors. In front, it uses a large 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterfall notch (Infinity-V as per Samsung's branding) to house the 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Inside, the South Korean tech firm failed to specify the type of processor of the phone. They just mentioned that it is a 1.6GHz octa-core chip. A quick Google search points that it could be the 1.6GHz 28nm HPC+ UNISOC SC9863A octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8322 GPU. But, we will confirm it with them first.

In the Philippines, the handset is available in 3 storage versions: 3GB + 32GB, 3GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB. The battery capacity is rated at 5,000mAh.

At the back, it has two cameras. The first shooter is a large 48MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture size paired with a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera.
