Overview of Wild Rift Champions SEA 2022

The said tournament will kick off on the 25th of February and will cover six competitive regions in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hongkong. This cross-regional league's new season will feature invited teams from last season's Wild Rift SEA Icon Series, as well as freshly qualified teams participating at the highest levels.

The six local competitive leagues AKA the "WCS Masters" in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hongkong will battle it out in a best-of-three double round-robin regular season. The best 6 teams who will prevail will then be qualified to the WCS Playoffs, where they will fight in a 2-week double elimination mechanics from April 1 to 10, 2022.

The winning teams in the playoffs will represent their region in the WCS Finals, from here on the showdown will determine the region's best teams and those four teams remaining will represent Southeast Asia on the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship to be held in Europe this Summer.

For the WCS Philippines and WCS Malaysia & Singapore's remaining qualified teams will be announced soon. G4 (EVOS), Hamaz (TS), and Kiral are among the big names returning to WCS (SBTC).

These WCS teams have proven their utmost dedication to achieving success in the league, featuring players who are performing at the highest competitive level in the region.
