Redmi K50 series with Dimensity SoCs, 120Hz 2K OLED screens now official

Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro becomes official in China

Both devices feature new Dimensity SoCs and 120Hz 2K OLED screen

First up, the Redmi K50 has 4 different colors with different looks. There's the Iridescent with its color-shifting sheen, the Black one with its glitter-like accents, and the simpler Silver and Green. It has a rectangular camera island with a smaller circular one with a triple-sensor setup and LED flash.

Upfront, it has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 3200 x 1440 2K resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 480Hz touch sampling rate, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, Dolby Vision, HDR10/10+, 16,000 levels of automatic brightness adjustment, up to 1200 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus.

Inside, it has the 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor, Mali-G610 6-core GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,500mAh with 67W fast charging technology.

For cameras, it has a triple camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX852 main sensor with OIS + 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP macro lens + Flicker Sensor with LED flash. It also has a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor for selfies.

Other features include WiFi 6, dual 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, stereo dual speaker, Dolby Atmos, IR sensor, X-Axis Linear Haptic Motos, and USB-C. It runs Android 12 and MIUI 13.

Second, Redmi K50 Pro basically has the same design and screen. Inside, it has a much faster 4nm 3.50GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core processor, Mali-G710 10-core GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh with 120W fast charging technology.

For cameras, it has a triple camera setup with 108MP Samsung HM2 1/1.52-inch main sensor with OIS + 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP macro lens + Flicker Sensor with LED flash. It also has a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor for selfies.

Other features include WiFi 6, dual 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, stereo dual speaker, Dolby Atmos, IR sensor, X-Axis Linear Haptic Motos, and USB-C. It runs Android 12 and MIUI 13.
