POCO F4 GT with a flagship chip to launch on April 26

Xiaomi-related brand POCO recently sent an invite for the live stream launch of its newest smartphone called the POCO F4 GT.

In particular, the said device will go official on April 26 at 8 PM GMT+8 (4 AM Philippine time).

The event will be live on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and its official website with the launch tagline "The apex of power".

There are no other official details about the device yet. But, many are expecting it to be the rebranded Redmi K50 Gaming.

If true, the device is pretty powerful. To those who missed it, the RedmI K50 Gaming is boasting a glass and metal build and a 6.67-inch 10-bit AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole for the selfie camera.

The handset also has the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor, a new-generation Adreno GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a large 4,700mAh battery with USB-C 120W fast charging.

It also has a new dual vapor chamber (VC) cooling system, a copper radiator placed right on top of the chipset, dual graphite sheets, stainless steel, and mesh materials.

For the back cameras, it uses the capable 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP telemacro camera.

The device also has dual JBL-tuned stereo speakers, CyberEngine x-axis haptics motor, retractable shoulder triggers, WiFi 6E, 5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, dual SIM slots, and Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 skin on top.

Apart from the POCO F4 GT, the company also confirmed that it will launch its first AIoT products.
