Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite launched: 8.4-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and 7,470mAh battery

The Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite is a compact gaming tablet built for portability without compromising on gaming-focused hardware.

The device features an 8.4-inch WQXGA OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals for both gaming and everyday use. 

The screen also supports up to 4000 nits of peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, Dolby Vision, and 3840Hz PWM dimming at low brightness, making it well suited for gaming, streaming, and other multimedia tasks.

At its core, the tablet is powered by the 4.74GHz 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version processor, a special edition chip capable of handling demanding games and multitasking. 

Lenovo gaming ecosystem

It is offered in 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM, paired with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. A TF card slot further allows storage expansion of up to 2TB.

On the power front, the Legion Y700 Infinite houses a 7,470mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging, alongside an Ultra Power Saving mode to help extend battery life when needed. 

To manage heat during extended gaming sessions, the tablet incorporates a large 15,000mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

For photography, the device includes a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, with the latter also enabling face unlock.

Additional features include dual JBL-tuned super-linear speakers with Dolby Atmos support, along with two USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports for charging and high-speed data transfers.

In terms of connectivity, the Legion Y700 Infinite supports WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual SIM.

The tablet runs on Android 16 out of the box.
