Breaking: PLDT updates fiber plans, PHP 1,699 is now 100 Mbps fast!

PLDT today updated its website to introduce its upgraded Home Internet plans.

PLDT updates fiber plans, PHP 1,699 is now 100 Mbps fast!

In particular, PLDT Home upgraded its Fiber Unli Plan 1699, 2099, and 2699.

Fiber Unli Plan 1699 from 50 Mbps now has 100 Mbps of speed. Meanwhile, Plan 2099 from 100 Mbps now has 200 Mbps. Plan 2699 from 300 Mbps now has 400 Mbps.

All of the said plans are great for heavy surfing and video calls. Plan 2099 and 2699 are great for HD to Ultra HD streaming, heavy file transfers, and online gaming. Plan 400 Mbps is even said to be good for gaming on multiple devices.

There is also a Plan with 1,000 Mbps speed. But, the price will only be available upon request.

PLDT also noted that for new installations, you will need to attach a valid ID with a signature to prepare your in-house wiring.

PLDT's speed upgrade is the company's likely answer to rival Globe's recent speed boost.
