Just in! HONOR is coming back to the Philippines

HONOR earlier sent out invites to the local press announcing that the brand is coming back to the Philippines.

HONOR is coming back!

In particular, the brand will return to the Philippine market on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Based on the teaser, Iridium Technologies Inc. will be its local partner brand.

To recap, HONOR quietly made an exit from the local market last 2020 with HONOR 20 Lite as its last device.

This time, HONOR will re-enter the country once more as an independent company.

To those who do not know, HONOR is a former HUAWEI sub-brand before confirming that it sold the brand in November of 2020. HONOR before is not allowed to have Google Services as it is related to HUAWEI.

Now that HONOR is operating independently, the brand got its access to Google Services for global devices back. 

AND, in a short period of time, HONOR is now one of the biggest smartphone makers in China. The brand even got the highest ranking camera at DxOMark for the HONOR Magic4 Ultimate.

Going back, we are still not sure what are the exact devices that the company will bring to the Philippines yet.

Its press invite teaser showed a device with a top-center punch-hole. We won't be surprised if it is the vanilla version of the premium HONOR Magic4 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 due to its curved glass design.
