DJI Osmo Mobile 6 with 3-axis stabilization, Quick Launch, ActiveTrack 5.0 now official

DJI just announced the launch of the Osmo Mobile 6 smartphone stabilizer. It still has the signature 3-axis stabilization and ActiveTrack 5.0.

In order to provide customers full creative control over the phone cameras they carry around with them every day, the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 smartphone stabilizer has been improved through capabilities on the device, software features, and editing tools. Osmo Mobile 6 has ActiveTrack 5.0, a brand-new Quick Launch, DJI's 3-axis stabilization, and better ergonomics in addition to compatibility with larger phones.

It is compact and can fit on your palm and just weighs 300 grams. Osmo Mobile 6's built-in extension rod makes it easy to take better-framed selfies and experiment with images from unusual angles, such as those taken from low to the ground.

When taking photographs and videos with smartphones, three strong motors and DJI's sophisticated algorithms maintain stability. With its active stabilization, the Osmo Mobile 6 is unmatched for recording the action in front of you, whether you're traveling with friends, visiting a new city, or watching your child play sports for the first time. 

With more dynamic movement and dim lighting, electronic image stabilization on smartphones might falter or cause video quality to decline, but the motorized stabilization on the Osmo Mobile 6 makes all the difference.

The Osmo Mobile 6 has a new Quick Launch feature for iPhone users since you never know when the right moment will come along that you want to photograph or record. Once the stabilizer is set up, securing an iPhone to it causes the Mimo app alert to quickly enter the camera app's field of view. With the device running 3x quicker than prior models, preparation time is significantly decreased.

Osmo Mobile 6's ActiveTrack 5.0, which is an improved version of DJI's ActiveTrack, allows the front camera to track objects that spin or move to the side. It also delivers more reliable tracking over greater distances. Your footage will be more narrative-like when you are camping, traveling, or shooting on the street since the gimbal will automatically maintain the subject in the foreground.

It also has different including Follow Mode, Tilt Lock, FPV mode, and SpinShot mode. It also has features such as Timelapse templates, DynamicZoom, Gesture Control, Panorama, and Story Mode. It also has its own app in Mimo as well as LightCut for editing.

The USD 159 package of the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 will include a magnetic clamp, tripod, power cable, and storage pouch. Local pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed though. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
