POCO C50 with Helio A22 quad-core SoC and 5,000mAh battery launched!

POCO announces an affordable C50 smartphone with Android Go, MediaTek SoC, a large battery and a leather-like texture design.

POCO kicks off the year 

The new POCO C50 smartphone features a large 6.52-inch display with a 1600 x 720 resolution, 400 nits peak brightness and scratch-resistant glass.

Inside is the 12nm 2GHz Quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor, IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU, 2GB/3GB LPDDR4X RAM, 32GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, microSD card expansion and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.

At the back of the phone is the 8MP f/2.0 rear camera with depth sensor and LED flash while in front is the 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Other features include a rear-mounted-fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, splash resistance coating, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, FM radio, GPS, GLONASS, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0.

It will come in either Country Green or Royal Blue.

Lastly, it will be running on the Android Go lightweight platform.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

The new smartphone will be available for purchase from India's Flipkart this January 10, 2023. There is no word yet on International or Philippine pricing and availability.
