HUAWEI MatePad SE w/ 2K screen is coming to the Philippines on Feb 14!

Confirmed: A new kid + family-friendly tablet is coming to the Philippines!
The tech giant said that this is a "kid-friendly" tablet that promises "entertainment and fun for you, your family, and loved ones."

| A durable body? |
According to HUAWEI, the device is boasting a "durable body" that can withstand occasional drops and a micro-curved middle frame design for a more comfortable and better grip.
In front, HUAWEI used a 10.4-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 2K 2000 x 1200 resolution at 224 ppi. This now has way slimmer bezels than the company's previous affordable tablets for a more immersive viewing experience.
Moreover, it now has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications with 4096-level brightness adjustment.
To complete the entertainment experience, it is using a stereo speaker setup with Surround Sound Tuned by Histen 8.0.
The device is using the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system with an upgraded AppGallery that can download nearly all apps even Google apps as it is now integrated with GBox.
This also has the HUAWEI Super Device tech for easy communications, file transfers, and more on different HUAWEI devices and has the Multi-Window feature for multitasking.
As mentioned, the company claims that it is a "kid-friendly" tablet. It comes with the Kids Corner for safe browsing of kids and allows them to enjoy nursery rhymes, stories, and games in BabyBus. Parents may also set time, do app or content management, and many more.

It runs with the 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU paired with up to 4GB RAM, up to 128GB internal storage, 5,100mAh battery capacity with USB-C 10W charging, dual-band WiFi, optional 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 5.0 tech.
It measures 246.94 x 156.7 x 7.85 mm and weighs 440 grams.
There is no info regarding its official local price tag yet. Let's wait for the HUAWEI reveal on the above-mentioned date.
