Sony has revealed its 2023 Bravia XR TV lineup composed of the X90L, X95L and A80L for the Philippine market.
Sony updates its lineup of Bravia XR TVs for 2023. All models feature the Cognitive Processor XR. It can replicate content while enabling better backlight control for increased local dimming zones, increased brightness and declared blooming. The new 2023 version of the Cognitive Processor XR comes with an XR Clear image which Sony claims that it further reduces noise and blur in motion.
All models come with Acoustic Center Sync which allows the TVs to connect and synchronize the TV's audio system with select Sony soundbars and AV receivers.
Sony says that the new lineup is perfect for PlayStation 5 gamers where it will work with exclusive features such as Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode. These features will generate an optimized picture quality while gaming and streaming. There is also an easy-to-use and quick-access Game Menu for customizing game settings like turning on or off VRR or Motion Blur Reduction.
The next feature is the XR Blacklight Master Drive which uses a Sony-developed local dimming algorithm to control thousands of tiny, ultra-dense Mini LEDs with precision, and indepence which should deliver outstanding brightness, dynamic range, deep blacks and beautiful colors.
Other supported features of the new lineup support the Bravia Core app, Bravia XR Technology, Pure Stream and IMAX enhanced.
The first of three new TVs is the Bravia XR X95L 4K HDR Mini LED Google TV which is only available in the 85-inch configuration. It supports 4K at 120Hz variable refresh rate, and auto-low latency mode. The panel comes with X-anti Reflection and X-Wide Angle which minimizes reflections when viewing the TV.
Next up is the Bravia XR X90L 4K HDR Full Array LED Google TV shares the same features as the X95L but will come in 75-inch, 64-inch and 55-inch variants.
Last of the lineup is the Bravia XR A80L 4K HDR OLED Google TV is available in 77-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch variants. It features XR OLED Contrast Pro and XR Triluminos Pro technologies that Sony says should make consumers feel the beauty of OLED brightness of approximately 110 percent compared to the previous generation.
The new TVs are expected to arrive in the Philippines soon. We will update the articles as soon as the prices for the new TVs have been revealed.
