vivo V27 Series arrived earlier this week and now the brand shares the highlights of the two smartphones.

To recap the two devices feature Aura Portrait Algorithm. According to the brand, this will provide a studio-like quality light source versus the standard flash plus it adds a nice touch to the design with a halo-like effect.

vivo takes pride in that the smartphones scream "Elegance and confidence" in their design. The Emerald Green colorway of the vanilla V27 5G took inspiration from the green lagoon of El Nido, Palawan that will remind you of the calmness of nature. 

The brand continued that it strikes a relaxing vibe while the Photochromic 2.0 technology gives it a "mystical" color-changing effect. It also features the industry's first jadeite glass process to achieve a jade-like feel when holding it.

Meanwhile, the V27e variant also gives a graceful aura to its Lavender Purple color, and the back cover features what they call an "intricate streamer feather pattern" that creates a stylish and fluid effect. vivo says it went through a special nanoscale lithography process to achieve this look.

If you prefer a simpler one, there's also the Glory Black colorway which they call a timeless and classy style emitting a "strong and bold aura".

The phone maker also boasts the Slim and Lightweight comfortable feel of the devices. Specifically, the vanilla V27 5G is only 7.36mm thin, while the V27e is 7.7mm sim instead.

Moving to the internals, the V27e has a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, In-Display fingerprint scanner, 6nm 2.2GHz MTK Helio G99 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB expandable storage, 4600mAh battery with USB-C 66W fast charging.

While the cameras have 64MP f/1.79 w/ OIS, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth helper + Aura Light flash. While the selfie has a 32MP f/2.0 sensor.

On the other hand, the V27 5G is the more powerful device on paper. This features 6.78-inch 60-degree curved AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and FHD+ resolution.

Inside you'll see the new  MTK Dimensity 7200 with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, 12GB RAM, plus another 8GB virtual RAM, 256GB storage, 4,600mAh battery with 66W  USB-C fast charging.

On the camera side, it uses 50MP Sony IMX 766V with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide snapper + 2MP macro shooter and the Aura Light flash. For selfies, it has 50MP f/2.45 with AF and Eye AF.

For OS, both devices run Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 skin out of the box.
