Apart from the Fold, Google also introduced the Pixel 7A at the I/O conference last night.
Now that Google officially unveils its mid-range smartphone, the leaks from last week appeared to be accurate.
To recap, the tech giant brought the Google Tensor G2 processor with Mali-G710 MP7 GPU on this smartphone. The chip also features Titan M2 security for added protection of your data.
Anyways, the phone features a refreshing single-tone design in choices of Light Blue, White, or Black colorway. There's a metal-like finish on the camera island and you'll also notice the G logo of the brand.
Facing it upward, you'll be greeted with the dot display with a size of 6.1 inches. It comes with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and an OLED HDR panel, 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Inside, it has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, 4385mAh battery with USB-C 18W fast charging and wireless charging.
In terms of camera, it has a 64MP primary shooter + 13MP ultra-wide combo while the selfie uses a 13MP snapper. Google also claimed that the main sensor can do up to 8x Super Res Zoom with Real Tone color.
Other features noted are the Stereo speakers, 2 microphones, and IP67 water-resistance rating,
For connectivity, it has 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3 LE, GPS, and NFC.
For OS, the phone runs Android 13 out of the box with a promise of 5 years of security updates.

The phone is now available on India's Flipkart. As of this writing, Google hasn't mentioned PH availability. Stay tuned for now.
