HUAWEI Watch 4 Series: Aluminum or Titanium body, 7-point Health Summary report!

Two wearables from HUAWEI debuted today in Munich called the Watch 4 and a Pro variant.

The Watch 4 Pro strikes a premium and elegant design and comes with choices of leather strap or titanium strap. The 48mm casing is made of TC4 titanium alloy which is 3x stronger than regular titanium. On the other hand, it uses a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with sapphire glass protection against scratches. The standard Watch is smaller at 46mm and uses stainless steel casing instead.

Both wearables feature Always on Display, a number of planetary watches face options, and a 5ATM water resistance rating.

The two devices also have more than 100 workout modes for typical health tracking. Another worth mentioning is the one-minute seven-point health summary which combines heart rate, SpO2, ECG, skin temperature, arterial stiffness, stress, and respiratory health data into a single report.

What sets the Pro apart from the regular is the added LTE connectivity through the eSIM and the onboard GPS.

The Watch 4

HUAWEI claims the Watch 4 can last up to 3 days of typical usage while the Watch 4 Pro can provide up to 4.5 days. Their power-saving modes can extend the Watch 4 up to 14 days while the Pro edition can have up to 21 days.

As for availability, the two devices are set to go on open sale in Europe in the next coming weeks. No word yet for other markets though so stay tuned.
