OPPO Reno10 series (Global) spotted on Geekbench: both toned down to Dimensity 7050 and SD778G

Global variants of the OPPO Reno 10 series were spotted on a benchmark website, revealing changes in the processor.

OPPO changes the processors of Global Reno10 and 10 Pro

Let's start first with the OPPO Reno10. Its Chinese variant had the slightly powerful 6nm SD778G SoC however the Global variant with a model number CPH2531 is toned down to Dimensity 7050 (also known as Dimensity 1080).

The brand also confirmed that it will come with 8GB and 256GB memory configurations, while the listing proves that indeed it will have 8GB RAM.

The listing revealed its scores with 956 points on single core and 2,340 for multi-core.

On the other hand, the Chinese Reno10 Pro had a more powerful 4nm Dimensity 8200 SoC but the Global edition with model number CPH2525 reveals that it will have 6nm SD778G instead.

Furthermore, the OPPO confirmed it will have 12GB/256GB memory trims and the Geekbench listing points out that it does have 12GB RAM as well. The benchmark scores suggest that it has 1,025 points for single-core and 2,696 points for multi-core.

Also to recap, the Chinese variants had 120Hz 6.7-inch FHD+  AMOLED or OLED screens, 4600mAh batteries with 80W or 100W fast charging, and 32MP selfie cameras.

The base Reno10 (China) uses 64MP f/1.7 OV64GB + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide IMX355 + 32MP f/2.0 IMX709 trio rear sensors.

While the Reno10 Pro (China) had 50MP f/1.8 IMX890 with similar accompanying sensors to the base version.

Right now it is still unclear whether OPPO will retain these specs too. But it will just make it difficult for them if they won't be.

Also, the global launch of these devices may be just around the corner. We will keep you updated once it's official.
