For those who don't know yet, Dark League Studios (DLS) is an event management production team, while Smart is a prominent player in the Telco industry.

The two will work together in bringing up a more exciting and immersive gaming experience through Smart GIGA Arena—the Philippines' first all-in-one Esports platform that offers tournament experience to amateur players of mobile titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG and League of Legends Wild Rift.

The telco said that since its launch in 2022, the Smart GIGA Arena was able to host more than 2 million users in almost 1,000 tournaments offering a prize pool of PHP 4.2 million.
