vivo V29 Lite 5G launched: SD695, 64MP OIS and 120Hz curved AMOLED!

vivo is set to release the V29 series soon however, the brand suddenly revealed the V29 Lite making it the first phone in the lineup.

The phone features the usual design, a rectangular camera island and it comes with a color-blending-like rear cover. It looks thinner overall with its 7.89mm measurement and it weighs just 177 grams.

At the front, it adopted the curved display with a size of 6.78-inch and it uses an AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM eye protection, up to 1,300 nits max brightness and it even has DCI-P3 color gamut alongside the In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside, vivo still equipped the phone with a  6nm Snapdragon 695 8-core chip with Adreno 619L GPU, 8GB RAM + 8GB Virtual RAM, and 128GB storage.

For battery, the phone uses 5,000mAh and it supports 44W fast charging.

The phone is equipped with a 64MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization coupled with 2MP for depth and 2MP for macro shooting. While the front-facing camera has 16MP.

Other features noted are the IP54 rating for dust and some water splashes.

For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

While on the software side, the phone runs Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 skin overlay.

Czech Republic price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo V29 Lite 5G - CZK 8,499 (around PHP 21.6K)

The device comes with a 2-year warranty as per vivo, while it is now available for pre-order in the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, there's no news yet for other market availability.

The other V29 Series are being teased in the net already which could likely imply that they are coming soon.
