Red Magic 8S Pro Global launched: SD8+G2, 65W fast charging and advanced cooling!
Two weeks after the China version announcement, the Global Red Magic 8S Pro is also announced.

Red Magic 8S Pro Global versions announced!
To recall, the Red Magic 8S Pro features an updated Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but GSMArena coined it as SD8+ G2 as it was overclocked to 3.36GHz coming from 3.2GHz. It comes with an improved GPU performance from 680MHz to 719MHz. To sum it up this version is 5 percent higher in CPU and 5.7 percent higher in GPU performance.
Now the Snapdragon processor is also paired with a dedicated gaming chip called the Redcore R2 which the brand promises should improve gaming performance.

The phone uses a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED w/ 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit colors, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 1440Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, DC dimming, and 1,300 nits of max brightness.

The Red Magic 8S Pro Series Global has three variants that determine the RAM and Storage. You can get the 12/256GB for the Midnight version, and 16GB/512GB for the Platinum and Aurora versions.
However, the Aurora variant also comes with a smaller configuration of 12/256GB combo.
Meanwhile, the 8S Pro+ variant isn't mentioned in the list so there will be no 24GB RAM version as of yet.
Moving forward, Red Magic toned down the charging speed from 80W to 65W but retains the 6,000mAh capacity for the battery.
Other also remains like the 50MP Samsung SK5GN5 main shooter + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro, 16MP front-facing camera, ICE 12.0 cooling system, built-in RGB fan, 3.5mm audio jack, 3 microphones, dual X-axis linear motors, and 520Hz triggers.
For connectivity, the phone has WiFi 7 and 5G while the software runs Android 13 with a Red Magic interface.

The device can be ordered through the redmagic.gg website and there are early bird deals that customers may catch between July 27 and August 2. While the open sales will start on August 3.
